Ring The Bell

Ring The Bell

Today I had the “ring the bell” ceremony at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Firstly, this ceremony is to commemorate, and celebrate, completing my radiation treatment. 4 weeks of treatment, 20 cycles, endless amounts of support. Secondly, this is the closing of one chapter, and the opening of another.

The 3 Rings are for:

  • first for what I have endured
  • second to celebrate today
  • third for the future

2019 was a difficult year, and we’re looking forward to a much more positive and healthy 2020. No one has time or need for cancer!

Lastly, a massive thank you to all the wonderful staff, technicians, doctors, and to our friend & family for such amazing support along the way.

  2. Congratulations Cindy. happy to hear this is all over and praying this is the last time you have to go for treatments. Thank you for the updates all the time. I am so grateful and comforted to know the progress they are making in cancer treatment for so many different kinds of cancer. None of us know when we will be involved and it is so good to know there are so many in the health profession trained and able to help. God has given so many the gift of healing and with His help, who can be against us. Keep well and keep on enjoying your lives.
    Love Joyce
